Dr. Nina Gudeon
MD, FRCPC
Dr. Nina Gudeon received her BA from Cornell University in 1997 and her MD from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2002. She’s a clinical fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada andĀ a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. Village Health & Wellness is her community pediatric psychiatry clinic in Calgary, Alberta. Dr GudeonĀ teaches medical students and allied health professionals to understand, diagnose and treat PANS/PANDAS and care for children and families who are impacted.
Kristen Popowich
B.Sc. Psychology
Kirsten Popowich received her BSc in Psychology at the University of Alberta in 2025 and is looking to pursue a career in medicine. She became interested in PANS/PANDAS through her work as Initiatives and Events Coordinator, Conference Manager, and Volunteer Coordinator with Inflamed Brain Alliance, a Canadian charity focused on advocating for PANS patients. Kirsten is our part time Medical Office Assistant effective January 2026. Her work at Village Health and Wellness will be another opportunity to learn more about these conditions and the field of psychiatry.
